What is the Business Development Group (BDG)?
The Business Development Group, or BDG, is composed of local NAPA Autocare Centers that have chosen to “go the extra mile” by banding together to make the most of the NAPA Autocare program. Together, we are working to protect and improve our local industry through:
- Promoting the NAPA Autocare brand and logo to provide increased public awareness
- State and Federal lobbying, through our connection with the Virginia Automotive Association
- Membership in the Motorist Assurance program
- Advertising through our Facebook page and website
- Making affordable technician training available through NAPA Autotech and other sources
- Providing financial support for the next generation of technicians through scholarships at TCC.
- NAPA-sponsored exclusive sales promotions that reward Service Writers and Technicians
- Annual charity events
- Providing a forum for discussion among shop owners like you for critical issues related to our industry
- Extended eligibility on key NAPA promos
Who is Eligible to Join?
All NAPA Autocare Centers in Southeastern Virginia are encouraged to join the Business Development Group. Visit napaautocare.com or talk to your NAPA sales rep to learn more
How Do I Join?
First, plan on attending one of our monthly meetings. ALL independent auto service shops are invited to attend, not just Autocare Centers. Come learn about the Autocare program and the added benefits of BDG membership. You are encouraged to bring key members of your staff who will benefit from the information and camaraderie. Can’t get to the meeting in person? Meetings are hosted on Zoom and recorded for viewing later
Meetings are casual dinner gatherings held at a local restaurant. NAPA store owners and product line experts speak on new products and corporate promotions. In addition we try to bring in speakers on matters of concern to all shop owners. As a member, you can help determine the future of the group. BDG membership automatically enrolls you as a member in the Virginia Automotive Association with all associated member benefits.
